Made from organic grapes sourced mainly from vineyards in Tupungato at an altitude of 1200 meters (4000 feet) above sea level, one of the highest points in Mendoza. It is 100% Malbec, and has been in contact with American and French oak during the fermentation and then aged for 4 months in the bottle. It goes well with red meats, sauces, cheeses and pastas.
Black fruit aromas are bold and friendly, but simple in a good way, meaning the nose is open and uncomplicated. A dense, chewy palate is ripe and full, while this Malbec tastes entirely of black fruits. A full finish shows mild heat and tannic grip but nothing that makes things difficult.
